Our second instalment of Humans of Wimbledon School of English is brought to us by Daisuke from Japan.

My first day in London was horrible. I felt completely lonely and had no confidence to talk to anyone. NOT EVEN ORDER SOME FOOD!!  When I came to school I had no friends and only stayed by myself. My teacher and my friend tried to make me feel better, gave me many chances to talk and always invited me to go out with them. They never got angry with my mistakes and never annoyed when I took a long time to think and answer their questions. 

They helped me a lot to improve my English. It’s difficult but they tried very hard to help me. They gave me more confidence which I never had before. Now I can have a conversation with everyone and I never feel lonely anymore.

I cannot find any word to describe my feelings about their help. I’m incredibly appreciative. I cannot imagine what would happen without them. Thank you for making my London life PERFECT. Never better.
