Wimbledon School of English has each year been named by the EL Gazette as one of the joint number 1 language school in the U.K according to British Council inspection results. Read about how Wimbledon School of English became the first school in the UK to achieve a perfect score in two British Council inspections in a row. Our Junior Summer Centre also went straight into EL Gazette's Centre of Excellence ranking on its first inspection as the highest-ranking summer school in Britain owned by a year-round language school. WSE was established in 1964 making it one of the oldest English language schools in the UK.

Our dedicated teachers and pastoral staff take great care of the students, helping them develop their English language skills, feel safe and secure, and make new friends from all over the world.
