The Programme

18-hours of classroom study per week + one study-focussed excursion

Choose:

12 hours of General English or 12 hours of Young Leaders
PLUS 6 hours' practical and multi-level Specialised Skills workshops

* Debating, Presentations and Public Speaking
* Filmaking and Social Media
* Junior Journalist
* British Youth Culture
* Football Academy - New for 2019
* Coding - New for 2019
* University Preparation

Activities

8 hours' afternoon activities per week including:

* Swimming
* Tennis
* Football
* Badminton
* Volleyball
* Drama workshop
* Painting
* Cookery club
* Survival sdkills
* Photography walk

Excursions

2 full-day excursions per week to famous cities (this includes the study-focussed excursion mentioned in The Programme section above) plus optional Sunday excursion (NB 1 full-day excursion in your departure week).

Exciting Optional Sports Academies:

* Professional tennis lessons for players of all levels - licensed by the Lawn Tennis Assoication (LTA).
* Horse riding and stable management - accredited by the British Horse Society Approved Equestrian School.

These Optional Sports Academies are charged at an additional price and take place off-campus. These replace the standard afternoon activities (as above). To book your place on any of these, select the appropriate option on the 2020 application form.

Location

Lord Wandsworth College is set in beautiful countryside in the county of Hampshire. It is extremely picturesque as well as safe, with extensive grounds for students to enjoy.

It is approximately 1 hour from Wimbledon and 90 minutes from Central London by public transport with the closest airport being London Heathrow which is only 1 hour away. Other nearby attractions include Windsor Castle which is 50 minutes away and Oxford, only 90 minutes away.

London Gatwick airport - 1 hour and 15 minutes
