If you are a more mature student aged 30+ with a current English language level of A2 - C2 (pre-intermediate to proficiency) and would like to improve your English in smaller classes, this is the course for you!

On this course you will study with students of a similar age to you and develop networking opportunities. The course also includes lunch twice a week with your teacher and fellow classmates. 

30+ English for Work and Life

Wimbledon School of English's 30+ course is specifically tailored to students aged 30+ who are dedicated to improving all areas of their English language skills in a diverse and exciting programme.  This course also includes lunch with your teacher on two afternoons each week.  This course includes the opportunity to go on class excursions and develop networking opportunities with similar like-minded international students. 

You will study 24 lessons each week and classes will focus on:

  • Developing all your language skills in a challenging environment
  • Exploring a wide range of topics around current affairs
  • Improving your understanding of how to use English in everyday situations
  • Generating networking opportunities with other international students
  • Discovering more about British culture and history

Students can start this course on any Monday throughout the year, unless the Monday is a Public Holiday, in which case you would start on the Tuesday. 

Please note: If you choose to study an Options course also, you will be studying with students who are younger than 30.
